One fog light and one driving light configuration?

I have been reviewing all the through-the-grill light threads I am intrigued by the notion of having one driving and one fog light mounted. How was this configuration laid out meaning which was mounted on the left and which on the right? Also how were they switched in relation to the high/low beams (driving with high and fog with low)? As a final question how were they aimed, again meaning the difference in the fog and driving, in the distance or to the side in relation to their mounting left or right.

    Thanks for opinions.

Well, there's "technically correct" (don't know) and "it makes sense to me."

I'd put the driving light in front of the driver to give it a clearer shot at the center of the road; fog light on the right closer to the shoulder. Give them the proper vertical aiming, but I'd aim them both straight ahead.

I'd be tempted to power both off the parking light fuse (with relays) to give you the maximum flexibility (the driving light could be used with either your high or low beams, for example).

Thanks or your response. That is along the lines of what I was considering (makes sense to me). Position driving on the left and set each up, distance and side to side according to them being a matched pair, fog or driving and switch individually for the various combinations.

With all the TTG light discussion here I was hoping for additional input.

    Opinions welcome.

    Thank you.
