Thread: My Last Post

    My Last Post

It has come to my attention that my posts and sense of humor do not meet the board standards so after years of posting and fun reading all of the great info I will say goodbye and miss all of you. 1416 was a pretty good run.

    Sincerely
    Michael Sherrill

Not to ruffle feathers, but I don't see it. I can think of numerous others that cause more bristling than you and I wouldn't want them to leave either.

No matter what you say, your posts are worth reading.

Sorry you feel that way Michael, my intent was certainly not to drive you from the message board, just to carefully consider before you post... Like I have asked of a few others before you...

However you do need to do what you're comfortable with...

And if you feel that I've been unfair or dictatorial with your comment of 'my board' then perhaps it's best leaving it way you've chosen...

    Regards,
    Chuck Miller

There you go. Chuck knowes best.

Michael, it sounds like you're a bit bitter.

I don't know what transpired between you and Chuck - and, frankly, I really don't care - but I get the impression that this thread is about to turn extremely sour and, in that light, should be closed, locked, and completely disregarded.

I'm sorry that you're upset or feel offended, but I believe that whatever is going on PRIVATELY between you and Chuck should remain PRIVATE. It has no place in the public forum.

Sorry to see you go ... I don't think you should.

Boxster03, please let this be the last of your "old" posts and the first of your "new" posts here at the Sreg! We need some humour once in a while.

    Michael;

Another who is not aware of what set you off but I can tell you that more than a few of us here have at some point felt the same way you do for some reason or other.
I think that on sober reflection you might come to realize that what is good about this place is far more substantial than the bad that sometimes appears
and that is unavoidable in any place more than one person meets.
I know, I went "away" for a bit (though I was lurking) and now am glad to be back.
It is really all about the cars - and we all feel the same about those.

If you do go you will always be welcomed back.

And if it is a problem with Chuck - He seems like a reasonable man and I hope the two of you would be able to work it out - or at least ignore each other.
