Hey we got a blog now

Hey guys and gals,

I have dragged myself into the "new world"....of blogging .

I am still struggling for time with the website, so I figured why not set up a blog where we can post all our pics and stuff about things we do outside of the workshop.

Lots more to be added and I am still working my way around the options and extras, but I have made a reasonably solid start in my "spare" time (don't get much of that).

So far I have covered the Lit Show and Swap, am working on the SOW Monday stuff .

Contributors to the blog are most welcome . Critiques too - a lot of you guys will be much more proficient at this sort of stuff than me I would think .

So please, go take a look and let me know what you think, OK?

The tribute to you dad is truly moving and what a great way to start your blog. Its great to have roots and yours run deep.

You should be applauded for being so techy to start your own blog. I will look forward to seeing it grow and flourish.

And having so many 'hits' in such a short period makes me sentimental for the 60s. (Not that I can remember them)

Thank you. It's a special day - for the first time I am not teary on this anniversary. I am not even in a crotchety mood .

I promise this blog will contain a heap of stuff from "the good ol' days". I have days of scanning of pics to do and lots of stories to tell. Just figured it would be best to start from "now" and work back. It will help jog my memory doing it this way .

As for being "techy" well I can honestly say that wordpress is really easy to use, once you catch up with the lingo. It's a whole lot easier than what I am trying to with dreamweaver for the website that's for sure.

And I am thrilled to bits about the number of hits already!
