A heads up on windshield seals...the hard way

If you are intending to replace the windshield seal on your car, GET THE SEAL FROM STODDARD. I purchased a seal from another supplier and tried twice to install the windshield with a reasonable fit. Both times, the seal did NOT cover the gaps around the windshield. I shelled out the additional dollars and purchased another windshield seal from Stoddard. Although the chrome trim was more difficult to install, the windshield and seal fit MUCH bettter. Night and day between the Stoddard piece and the other guys!

I know I've learn a great deal from this board and I just wanted to pass along a small but costly lesson I learned.

I'd like to add that I got my German rubber seal at Foreign Intrigue and it fit like a charm. No more leaks!
