    Barbarossa prototype 13327

The latest Autoweek (3/17) has a page on the 901 prototype known as Barbarossa.

I became intrigued with the mention of the two-gauge dash. The 1964 registry has a very small photo of the interior along with larger exterior...some of these also ended up on Pelican (I do search ). Anyone know of a better collection of photos on the web? Particularly the dash and other interior shots?

One of the British Porsche mags had a great article on it a while back maybe someone else remembers or can scan it.

There is a large color photo of the 2-guage "Barbarossa" Typ 901 dash and interior on page 31 of the Randy Leffingwell Porsche 911 coffee-table book recently updated.

For some reason there is a version of this book turning up on the "remainder" table at some Borders stores for $14.95 instead of the usual $50. Amazon has it for $30. It's pretty terrific at whichever price.

    Roger,
In the Tobias Aichele 911 Forever Young book there are some excellent pics on p26 of a T7 - looks like an Irish green with a Carrera 2 4 cam motor.
    Check it out !

    Cheers.

Here is a picture of the interior from a German classic car magazine issued September 2007, shown in a 'world exclusive' driving test:
