Mysterious Clock Can Anyone Help Identify

I have this mysterious clock that is the exact same size as a 911 tachometer. I thought it might have been from a 356 or 912 but I just dont know, it looks very similar to those green faced gauges from the early 911s. It is a VDO gauge and it does say 6V on it so I am assuming it must be from a 356 or Ghia or something else?

If anyone knows what this gauge belongs in please let me know, I would like it to go to someone who could use it! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks
    Jon W.

    Jon,
Looks like a Karmann Ghia or VW part to me.
6 volt marking should confirm that.
    Not a Porsche clock.

    Cheers,
