    68 oil tank options

I need to replace the oil tank in my 68 SWB, What years will fit? should I find another 68 tank? I will be building the original 2.0 engine as a 2.7, will it require a larger oil capacity? Thanks for your input

A 2.7 will require external oil cooling. If you go with the larger capacity tank you will have to cut the engine wall to fit the tank. Otherwise retain the 68 tank and find the fittings (couplers/reducers) so that you can run the external lines.
    I have a 2.7 in my 68.
