    Momo hub adaptor/boss/ shorter version?

I finally found the period (70s 370mm) prototipo black spokes I was looking for last weekend at the Essen Tecnnoclassica.

Now I am trying to source the adaptor to put it in the car, did some research and learnt that current version of the momo adaptor puts the wheel closer to the driver about 1 inch, hence the question.

Apart from finding (hard thing from what I've read here) one of this old shorter momo adaptors made from casted aluminium, Is there any other source to find a shorter adaptor that does not put the wheel towards the driver so much? (have not tried it but 1 with 1 inch I may not reach the lights indicators wipers etc.....)

    Thanks. Arturo

    Andy, or some one else,

Will the hub of a RAID wheel fit a MOMO wheel?

    Regards

    Randy,
I bought my Momo-->Nardi adapter ring from these guys a few years ago for $35. It appears there is another outfit named Autobahn North America selling 6mm and 12mm adapters for $20, but I have never dealt with them yet.

    Richard-
As far as I know, the Raid and Dino wheels will mount to the Momo hub with this adapter as well. I believe they have the same 6-bolt circle diameter as the Nardi wheels, so you should be able to mount a Momo wheel to a Raid hub with one. All they are is a flat metal ring with both diameter bolt circles threaded into them.

Here is a solid RAID hub indexed to a MOMO wheel. The spacing looks perfectly offset to allow drilling and taping for a MOMO bolt pattern and still have enough meat for use with the RAID wheel too.

The RAID adapter is about 23mm shorter than the expanded MOMO.
