'66 on ebay

I called the shop that is representing the car for the owner.

He admits that the car has the wrong motor which he thinks is out of a '68.
He also informed me that the "Blue" is a Mercedes color NOT a Porsche code.

The VIN appears to fall in line with a June '65 production date which makes it a legitimate 1965.

From his photos, it looks like it might be a decent driver.

According to the seller, original color was 6401-slate grey, again pointing to a MY 65 build.

The shop mentioned to me that the owner is hoping to get mid 30s
for a wrong motor, wrong muffler, wrong wheels AND wrong color car !!!!!

That would sure make me happy!
