Before the "Early S Gestapo" (sithot) accuses me of flipping or representing a car already in the public domain

After I told Steve about this '73s that my friend Rob has, I learned that Rob had just listed the car on ebay.

I did not know this when telling Steve about it. Rob had offered it to me on Monday and has just listed it on ebay in the past few hours..........

Pheeeeeeeeww, I'm glad thats off my chest!!!!!!!!!!

My hands are sweating as I couldn't type this fast enough upon learning this before being outed

I remember this silver car and PO attended the first couple of RGruppe events in Cambria.

I also remember the owner, after checking my #1099 VIN, saying,
"WOW, our cars were probably on 'the line' together and built on the same day" ..........

    Should be interesting...

    Cheers,

Yes, that is a very nice looking '73S coupe. The same seller also has a '69S coupe for sale also. I notice that the '73 has deep six wheels all around and the '69 has deep six on one side and flat six on the other. It would be a hassle to change the tires but it would be nice to have the it the other way around so at least one car has all the correct wheels. Should be fun to watch these sales.

Great car but it's in Japan which kills the instant gratification aspect

I've always wondered what that means 'top cash' or 'top dollar' when placed in a wanted ad. Some of the cars pointed to look REALLY REALLY nice, albiet expensive. If I was looking, I'd JUMP on the Silver car, and the ones from the ebay ad sound really good too. I guess it all depends on what 'top dollar' means.
