    Seat Belts

    Was wondering what the difference was between the seat belt set up for model years 65-68 and 69-73? It is my understanding that the shoulder strap mounted to the b-pillar on 69-73 models, and was mounted by the rear seats on 65-68 model years for non-adjustable belts. Is this correct?

    I am looking for new belts for my 70 911 and like the 3 inch non-adjustable belts from peparts.com, but they are only listed for the 65-68 model years. Stoddard lists their belts for "all early 911's." Anyone have experience sourcing belts for a 70 911, particularly non-retractable ones?

    In regards to peparts, I would call and speak with Trampas (yes, that is his real name) ... he probably could tell you what they have in case it is just not on their site.

    BTW - I took my 72 to him and he did a great job for me. Gowesty is a cool place!
