For Sale or Trade - Hella 128's NOS

********NOS Hella 128's w/ boxes with 901 part numbers **********
$750 plus insured shipping from Las Vegas (89129) or trade for T1 (1956-early 57) 356 parts - I am looking for good or restorable original sunvisors, steering wheels, shine down license plate lights etc.
I have been hanging on to these for possible future projects - but the expense of restoring a 56 356 coupe has changed my priorities. Email for high resolution photos. Paypal is ok if you want to pay the fees. Personal check or money order is fine.
thanks for looking, Mark mgroethe@earthlink.net ********

I wonder why they don't have the diagonal lines in the glass. According to the parts catalogue these are the non USA type with Halogen bulbs, so I guess the ones with the lines in the glass are the USA type with standard bulbs. Is that correct?

The ones with the "V" in the glass is a earlier design. Later production has these lenses as in the photo. To my knowledge the earlier "V" design has lately been reproduced so this is quite confusing.

In the 7.66 dated accessories brochure the "V" lights are shown (9293/94). In the 10.67 dated accessories brochure the later lenses are shown (9292) but 9294 was still available.

    9293/94 have 356 partnumbers (actually 644), 9292 a 901 partnumber.

I can not tell from the brochures but I guess that 9292 is a Halogeen, 9293/94 (V lights) a H3 bulb.

I'm looking for a pair with tungsten bulbs. From the posts these are H3s. Is that correct?

These fog lamps are Hella 128 Halogen H1 and were series for the 911S in Europe starting with the model year 1968 (901 631 201 00). It was not available in the US.
There was also a yellow reflector 128 H1 available which was delivered in France and Italy (901 631 201 10).

The Hella 128 with the V type glass (standard bulbs, not Halogen) are the same like the 356 (644 631 201 03 with white reflector or 644 631 201 04 with yellow reflector) and sold in the US.
