    7R Case

    Which years and models had a 7R case and would the entire year and/or model have it. Also, where do I look on my case to find the R stamping

    Hi,

    On 73 and years after. You can see references on the bottoms of left and right crankcase. There was many combinations between 3R,4R and 7R.

    I had a 73 911S early January production, it had 4R/5R case.

    It is 73.5 to 77 plus the 73 RS (I believe)
