    FS Original Orange Bar Hood Crest

    This is a nice hood badge. About a 7 out of 10 in my opinion. The black bar to the right of the "STUTTGART" has a nick in it which has been filled with paint. There are a couple nicks in the next black bar down on the left. The orange bars are pretty nice. Its not perfect, but you pretty much have to be holding it to see the flaws. A little more elbow grease will make her shine like new.

    No Elbow Grease!

    I have found the best way to clean an old crest is to dip it in Tarn X for 15 to 20 seconds. That way you wont ware thru the thin layer of gold.
