FS: *COMPLETE* 1973 911T MFI Setup

This is a complete MFI system from a 1973 911 T motor. Engine type is a 911/51 which is a 1973 911 T motor with MFI fuel injection system. For further clarification, yes this was the year that Porsche made the mid-year transition from MFI to CIS for the "T" motors. That said, this is a factory 911T motor with the factory MFI setup. This motor never was a CIS motor.

This is a complete setup that includes the throttle bodies, velocity stacks, MFI pump, MFI fuel lines, throttle linkage, cam pulley and injectors. I will also include the hardware and belts I removed from the engine during disassembly, but I would highly recommend that you replace the base hardware on assembly. This setup comes from a 1973 911T motor, serial number 6131896. The butterflies will need to be cleaned and prepared, however there is no "slop" in the throttle linkage or gaps in the butterflies as they rest in the throttle bodies. This engine was running well when purchased, and the MFI system was functioning as expected. I also have a spare MFI pump and MFI fuel pump that I plan to sell separately.

I am using this engine as a donor to build a spec 1973 911S motor using PMO carbs. As much as I love the look of the MFI setup on the engine and the throttle response it provides, I need the reliability afforded by the PMO setup for my track car. Thus, I am selling the complete MFI setup that has been removed from the engine.

As noted before, this is a complete MFI setup that includes all parts needed with the exception of the push rod for the base throttle linkage. This part is available from DCAuto (http://www.dcauto.com) and the ball sockets are available as well. You may be able to secure these parts from your local Porsche dealer as well.

This setup will go complete and I will not sell individual components.

Shipping charges will be in addition to the winning bid. Shipping costs will be added based on the buyer's address, and shipment will be via UPS. Origin shipping zip code is 75244 and you can check www.ups.com for an estimate of shipping costs. Shipping costs will include the actual cost of shipping as well as the costs for proper packaging before shipment - these are hard to come by and will be packed accordingly.

    Thanks for looking!
