    I had an email exchange with the owner yesterday and was told the car had a high quality original color repaint. Regardless still looks like a nice car.

    Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
    SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

    gold and steel rear letters

    I notice that this 71T targa appears to have steel 911T letters on the rear decklid and gold Porsche letters Mine is like that too The PO had no idea why
    Is this just a coincidence ?

    Hi Ian - I have a '68S, a '69E and a '71T here, all supposedly original, and they have gold numbers and gold script.
