    Ginther Dune Buggy

This thing is just way too cool. Anybody know what it is? A one-off custom or what?

    Thumbs up

The second pic has John von Neumann in the drivers seat...

Von Neumann was Richie's friend, benefactor, and his boss at Competition Motors, Porsche dealership and service, from the late '60's through the early '70's...

    Great pics....

Thanks. I did some quick Googling and found lots on Meyers Manx of course, not much on the 'Toad', so far.

Chuck - there's a great on-going thread on Richie on TNF. The fotos came from one of his relatives.

    they look fun....

but there is no floorpan , your butt is sitting on the fiberglass which is the seat !

so if the "rock with your name on it" happens to be in your path its going to hurt !

they actually drove one in the Baja 1000 , no idea if they put in a seat "skid plate"
