    Hounds tooth insert sport seats 67?

    Could a buyer option it in 67?

    Is the hounds tooth the name for the seat back position system? My passenger side detents were worn, and would pop free on quicker accelerations. Is that the hardware you are talking about and can it be replaced?

    Houndstooth refers to the pepita cloth inserts used to upholster the center panels of the front seats.

    Houndstooth cloth inserts

    NV Stig:

    Sorry, here is a photo that should illustrate what is being referred to by hounds tooth cloth inserts on a Sport Seat.

    This particular car has a '69-'71 Sport Seat on the driver side.

    On the passesnger side there is a factory Comfort Seat, also with hounds tooth cloth inserts.
