    I will check, but this was just intended as a FYI to the list after Rob called me. This engine was found in a slant nose conversion (Targa).

    Rob (owner of dC, see above) calls me from time to time when something different for a SWB comes in. I guess when you start procuring for a friend it is a slippery slope, to becoming an accomplice.

    4080371 should be a Sand-Cast Aluminum case since it is prior to what other threads have stated was last 901/02 Al case 4080681. Which makes this case a very rare bird; with some value to anyone looking for a replacement for a factory ’68 T/S or a great starting point for a ’68 T/S clone.
