Hey Bay Area Early 911 Owners

Any interest in a caravan to the Wine Country Classic, either Saturday or Sunday?

I tried to gather a group for an Early 911S Registry corral and did not get enough of a reply. I would bet PCA would have one. I thought it would be fun to caravan up and just create our own corral! Let's see if anyone replies.

The Porsche corral is on the grassy knoll at Turn 2. Just got an email from RRPCA.

    From the Infineon Raceway site:

    Classic Car Cruise
Take your classic car for a ride through the beautiful Sonoma Valley at Infineon Raceway's Classic Car Cruise, which kicks off the Wine Country Classic race weekend. The ride will depart from Infineon Raceway at approximately 10 a.m. on Friday, May 30, and includes stops at various local wineries. Contact Mike D'addario, 707-933-3941 or mdaddario@infineonraceway.com.

The details have not been finalized, e-mail Mike to get on the mailing list.

    corral parking

    Peter,

I like the idea of creating our own corral....but....we may have to make it miles away from the track. How about a corral within a corral? Ya know...early cars over in the corner.... Not to create any seperatism ...Just a thought....

    Cheers,
    Dave

PS Either Sat or Sunday works for me...

Please keep the postings going. I would attend if the car was running. I hope to be in the loop in the future. I hope to have the car running for Pebble Beach and Hot August Nights. Is anyone planning on hitting Monterey this summer?

So, are those who are available interested in participating on June 1 as a section of the PCA corral? We should then inquire as a group about tickets:

Finally, remember on Sunday, June 1st is our annual Porsche car corral at the Wine Country Classics at Infineon Raceway. This year we will be in the TV Media lot, which is paved and next to our normal "grassy" knoll near Turn 2. If you have never seen "vintage" races...you are in for a treat!

Tickets are available directly from Infineon Raceway. Contact Marc Holmes at mholmes@infineonraceway.com or 707-933-3955.
