    Question Proper Fan Shroud Colors

I recently acquired a 1973 T motor with the MFI fuel delivery system. The engine has the yellow fan shroud that (as I understand it) was found on "T" MFI engines. Since I am going to rebuild the engine as a 1973 S motor for my track adventures, can someone offer some insight on the proper colors for fan shrouds? I believe that "S" motors had a red shroud, and "E" motors had a green shroud, while late "T" CIS motors had a black shroud. Is this correct? And more importantly, what paint color codes should be used if one were to try and replicate (as closely as possible) the proper color for a "T", "E" or "S" motor. Thanks in advance for your indulgence for me asking a question for which I should probably already know the answer.

    Hi Toby,

This recent thread goes over the color question. I have no input on paint code.
