    So Long

    Gents,

I wanted to let you know that I sold my 1973S a few weeks back. I wanted to say bonvoyage and a big THANK YOU to all of you who helped me through my restoration woes with answers, experience, and support. In particular I wanted to thank Chuck, Bill C., Shawn H. and Soterik. You guys were really generous with your help.

Hopefully I'll be back at a different point in my life. Right now I've got 4 growing kids sucking up all my spare time and cash. Next time it'll be a lightweight R or ST replica. I will enjoy it more and obsess about it less if it's not a pristine S.

Until then, thanks again and please,...drive em like you stole em.

PS - have a few things leftover. See my classifieds for Carcover and cool collectable book.

Hey Chris... good to hear from ya... but sad to see ya go!

I'm guessing you came out ahead financially, learned a lot, made some friends and had a cool car to drive too. Can't beat that!

Hope to see you back soon!

    Jared,

OK, I should've mentioned you as well. Thanks again. Keep the flame burning. I'll be back with something interesting.

    Chris:
I just ran across your phone number the other day and was going to call and see how you are doing. I am sorry to see you sell your car, but the next one will be better. I hope that your kids are doing fine. Time with the kids are more inportant than the car. See you down the Porsche road.
