    67S Barn Find

A '67S Sunroof Coupe has been rescued from obscurity - found it through a circuitous path - an ad in a UK magazine (which the seller claimed to know nothing about) led me to the far north of British Columbia, just south of the Northwest Territories (how the car got up there is anyone's guess, maybe military, or possibly Santa's personal toy?))
I bought it last October, but it's taken this long to find a way to get it over to Toronto. It's a numbers matching Euro car, S/N 306731S, motor 960745. Light Ivory over black Houndstooth. I'll confess I wasn't expecting much more than a pile of loosely connected rust, but I was pleasantly surprised! Apart from home-made patches on the floors, it's has very little serious rust. The seats were literally torn up by animals, but the door panels and dash are perfect. It also has its original deco trim, and all 5 of its 4 1/2-inch Fuchs in good shape. I'm told it runs, but I'm not pushing my luck on that - motor is complete, though, it even has excellent heat exchangers.
I did have one heart attack moment - I was scooting around underneath on my creeper and came face-to-face with a huge hornet's nest (I'm allergic), but I don't think anyone is home!!
    Someday, someday......she'll be perfect again.
