    Minilites

    Have you guys seen these minilites wheels?

    http://www.vtoperformance.com/acatalog/911.html

    I am interested in the 10x15.

    How would they look on an ST creation? Are they similar to the original minilites? Would they fit under typical 9" rear ST fender flares?

    Has anyone used this vendor before and know the quality of their products?

    The original magnesium minilites price is in the unobtanium stratosphere. I am looking for that minilite rear/fuchs front look.

    Thanks

    Those are the Superlites made in OZ. I have a set in 6" for my '68. They are reasonably well made replicas of the Minilites, and VTO seems to be another name for Pack Racing these days. I dealt with Terry and he was straight up and very helpful. The wheels are cast aluminum and fairly heavy--decent for the street but not the best track wheels you could find. Can't beat the price. The 10" @ 18mm offset would work under ST flares.

    Here is a photo of me and my 4yr old helper. It is hard to tell but these are 9s and I'm running 10s on the rear. These were welded up special by Dave Bouzaglou @ TRE. He is a great to deal with and very helpful. Here is his contact info;

    The last 2 photos are of one of Dave's customers cars. I hope he doesn't mind me posting the photos.
