    67S Radio Antenna Question

This may be a question with a simple answer, but I need some help with the correct routing for the antenna coaxial cable fromt the antenna to the radio. My car ws originally fitted with a radio and manual antenna. It was removed 25 years ago by the previous owner when he had the car painted and he never got around to putting it back in. The hole in the fender was plugged with a rubber plug. My mechanic told me that the cable went through a hole in the door pillar, but I can't find the hole because the door is in the way. I ran my finger all over the pillar, but I can't feel any hole. Does anyone have any information on this and the routing of the cable. Thanks!

Yes, there is a hole with a grommet deep in the recesses of the front door cavity...you may be able to see it easier by pulling back the side carpet inside the car in the footwell, the whole is around the piece of masonite that the heater tube goes through. Or at least on my '68 it was.

Door needs to come off to install it.....I did mine last winter.
