    WTB: 67S manifolds

My early manifolds have cracks around the bases which
have been welded up and look really bad. This thing must
have been raced pretty hard early in its life for the manifolds
    to crack like this.

Does anybody have a spare set of 66/67 stamped S manifolds,
36mm ports to match the S heads?

    Something like this:

    Hi,

That pic is of my 67 S manifolds, that also had some cracks, which we are now repairing. If date stamps are important you could find some none S manifolds and have them machined to S spec. We have done this several times.

    Thanks and good luck

Hi Alan, yes, I linked to your pic from another thread. Can you describe
the process of repairing the cracked manifolds. I would rather recycle
what I have than try to acquire another correct set.

I have a spare set I would sell for $500.

PMO sells various sized intake manifolds new (including S porting) for under $400. Call Richard and get a quote.

On a real S, I'd have to have the factory magnesium parts.

The pmo's are taller too by a few inches. If you want to keep your original air filter on the carb's, you have to shoe horn it in. It just fits in the engine compartment with the taller intakes. I am guessing that the taller intakes allows improved mixing of the air and fuel.
