    67S Gulf Car on eBay

It's like deja vu week on eBay. First the orange softie, now the Rug Cunningham Gulf car. Guess the last buyer just wanted the 906 block that was in there...

    Indeed
I wonder where the original motor lies??
a rebuilt correct type engine is available though for $10K... that's a great deal!
specially if its Carrera6 built, that is!

Does the removal affect its history? was it the engine that earned its history?maybe the engine belongs in something more important!!!

Wow, so it did have a 906 case. Despite a couple of attempts, I could never get the seller to provide me with numbers, and figured it was BS.

    Real Deal

Yes, it did have a real 906 case, which is the reason behind the purchase. The case will be going back into a 906.

I know Scott @ Carrera 6 very well a he is restoring my '74 3.0RSR (#9068) for me.

When I saw this car on ebay last time around, I gave Scott a call and suggested he buy it for the 906 case. After a great deal of thought (and many back & forth phone calls) I also told him that JPLonghood (John ) had a correct '67s motor that Scott could buy and plug in the car in order to resell it on ebay.

If anyone thinking of buying this car need a personal reference for Scott, his abilities to build a strong '67s motor, and or his ethics, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'd be happy to discuss it.

Good luck, coming from Scott, it should be a nice package when finished.

    Chuck
