Talking We all dream of our "barn find" and I got my shot.

    Well sort of....

The 95 year old lady who lives across the street from me has commented many times on my car as it has made progress. The other day she walks across the street and tells me her older sister's husband was a car guy too. She goes on to tell me that her sister's husband passes away about 7 years ago and her sister still has his car sitting in the garage and I should "take a look" because as she said "It might be just the thing you're looking for."

We get to the sisters home and open the garage door. There it sits!

The good news was it had emmaculate light-blue metalic blue paint, near perfect interior and ONLY 7,300 miles! It was a real "time capsule" of a car!

    The bad news......

It was a four door, 1991 Chrysler New Yorker!

Damn! I hope this wasn't my one shot at that "barn find" we all dream about.

FAR more desirable than the lesser K cars i believe the New Yorker will show well at the auctions in the future. the vinyl roof and quilted velour seats really set these models apart.

Cool Add in the "Good Fellas" sized trunk.

It has all the making of a classic in the making.

Maybe I should have made an offer. I could always have used it as a storage container for Porsche parts. I thinkin' a SWB hood might just fit in that trunk!
