    Sunroof Screws

Here is a crazy request! I'm trying to determine what kind of a screws I need for my sunroof. It is a screw that is used to hold the rear cable guides. There is one on each side. There a two that go vertical which I have but, the horizontal one is what I need. I'm just looking for the size, thread type, head type etc and I can go out and source one. I'm not sure if it should be shouldered, with washers, spring washers, etc. They are not shown on any parts drawings. Tried Stoddard and Parts Heaven and they didn't know what I was talking about.

The cars I've worked on have had studs to mount the 'ears' of the rear cable guide. Maybe I'm not understanding the part you're describing...

    screws?

A "stud" might make sense since these "screws" I think I'm looking for don't show on any PET drawings. The darn thing is I don't have another sunroof to look at. Anybody else with experience would be greatly appreciated ??? Thanks.

    screwed

Why not buy/borrow a set of metric taps & dies ( harbor frt has them for small $ , maybe $20.00. I have had a set for 20 years and if you are careful they do not brake). At any rate try the different taps and when one fits you have your size, thread pitch, and length.
