Does anyone know if KAM Motorsports, in Watertown, Ct, has gone out of business?

Gene Antico, who bought the business from 4-cam guru and all around good guy Gerry McCarthy, folded the business late last fall.

It was never the same at Kamm once Gerry took ill and retired. I had work done there five years ago was and the entire experience was a horror show.

    Gerry was a good guy.

Gerry has overcome some tough health issues but he's doing just fine. I visited with him down at Hershey in April. He was having a great time visiting his many loyal fans and friends. He's an active participant on the 356 Forum.

Gerry has well earned a bit of time to himself - retirement. His right hand person for many years at KAM, Jeff Adams, is now working exclusively on early cars at Farnbacher Loles in Danbury, Ct. Jeff was out to the Lit Meet in LA with Kip Harris who runs FL in Danbury. I think Jeff and Gerry still talk regularly. It is worth a visit to Jeff. He has three or four four cams in his engine room! There are rumors that Gerry maybe be rebuilding a four cam in his basement for a longtime customer. He is really one of the all time great resources for the 356 and early 911 communities.
