    67 Normal Ch Nbr 308335

    67N Ch Nbr 308335 with 22,305 miles

Given the number of folks looking for a nice SWB car, this one should attract some attention. On Ebay search for item nbr 180248112136

    Has anyone gone to look?

The auction looks a bit suspicious to me. Starting at 35 with 2 bids. No detailed pictures. Don't mean to be cynical but....

    Don:

Listing shows location is Long Island - maybe not too far from you.

I spoke with this guy yesterday. He tells me the car is in Florida, says the mileage reads 38K but doesn't know the actual mileage. He now says it's a three owner car not two like stated in the listing. It was originally Irish Green. He says he wants $30K and I told him that the car was already at $35K ? So then I ask what he set the reserve at and he says he doesn't know ???

    Very very strange

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.

I emailed the seller and he is either not very knowledgable or not very forthcoming. He bounced back and forth from the car being a SC to a 912 to a 911. His ad states the car is a 4 cylinder and in "concord" condition. I wasnt going any further with him.

Rick2 had somebody steal his entire ad a year or so back and run it on ebay. I mean the entire ad with the car still sitting in front of Rick's house!(the car had been long gone to Canada by then)
He called the guy to see the car but couldn't get him to bite on a meet.
Good thing too; He's a big boy. Go Tigers!

PS: Non-S "normal/normale" cars had aluminum dashes.

There shouldn't be any problem here. After all, the seller has "tile in hand". What else has he in hand I wonder?

It is not a stolen account, since there is 0 feedback. But (probably?) the seller does not have the car and is trying, in fact, to steal repliers accounts.
Usually, I recognize the cars as the images are what is stolen from a prior listing. In this case, I do not recognize the car.

The "Coppola '67S" has been relisted many times, including right now, using stolen accounts.
