    Euro Country Plate

    I know where to get the stickers. Anybody got a source for the old metal 'country of origin' oval plates as shown here .....

    Did you try ebay. I see them pop up every now an then. I have an NOS one from when I lived in Germany, but I'm not giving it up.

    call me, e-mail me or PM me and I'll give you the name and info on a local gent who's a good guy and specializes in that sort of things. Totally trustworthy and reasonably priced. Just bought something from him yesterday at the Partsheaven swap meet.

    There were a few guys selling them at Essen, with and without the year of manufacture on the plate. I'll see if I can find a web address.

    Yeah, that looks like some of my handiwork The factory didn't always make things pretty, that's for sure!

    if you want to be picky , the originals were steel not aluminum like the modern ones......
