    Center Dash Speaker replacement

I need to replace my tired center dash speaker on my 73RS. Does anyone have a good one that you are willing to part with or know of a source for a replacement speaker? I can't find any references to original stock equipment sources or replacements here or on the Pelican forum.

    Replacement speakers

    Bill,
Thanks. I did quite a bit of roaming around old posts and reviewing some of the options including the twin mounted speaker solution. I want to keep thing as original as possible, so I wanted to see if someone was manufacturing a replacement for the original or if there was an original out there in good shape that was new or used.

We'll see what my friend "Macroni" Luke comes up with.

I haveexcatly the same problem in RS #197 certainly can't locate a replacement down under

I cut an exact template of the outisde of the original speaker in 3mm fibreboard and then using a jigsaw cut out the centre of the board to allow for the fitment of a 4" Pioneer speaker. Screwed it all back in as original

Wires attached straight on and hey presto.

I will search for an original speaker, in the mentime no one knows any different.

If you find 2 I'll buy the second one for sure

Radio Koenigs in Germany has a replacement unit with a higher capacity in stock. I bought one for mine, looks very nice, although not fitted yet. Check out here:

Thumbs up Center dash speaker replacement

    Michael,
Thanks. I'm sure others will be interested in seeing that this is available. I ordered one and I'll pass on how well it looks, fits, etc.
