    Cracked Dash!!!

Hi All, I am looking at a 73 2.4S to buy but it has a crack in the dash just to the right of the instrument binnacle. Not sure what you've done / can be done to remedy this. Any clues to repair the crack such that it cannot be seen any longer? Anyone got any photos of their repaired dash?

    Thanks.

Do a search. There is more than enough to keep you busy for a couple of hours.

    Good luck,

You probably shouldn't consider a car with such a defect....hard to tell what else is hidiing. I'm more experienced at such cars, please send me the information......

    thanks,

I agree. That will cost a fortune to fix; better leave it alone for someone who is more experienced.

    Cracked Dash

I'll second Phil's recommendation for Tony. He turned a badly cracked dash from my S into a work of art. Not cheap, but less expensive then those crap new ones they sell that don't fit!

I'll 'second that emotion'. Tony did a great job on the dash for my 69 912. I sent the dash I got from the dealer back. The Porsche replacement dash looked great but fit worse than OJ's glove.
