    oddly numbered early car on Ebay

    At least the stamp below the tag and the stamp on the dash fascia, as well as the engine number, point to one of the 3,154 cars produced from 1/65 to 7/65 (according to the red book). The VIN on the tag is odd and doesn't correspond with a real production # does it?
