    73 RSR - Rainshields

I notice that a number of 73 RSR's were equipped with a pair of rainshields mounted directly to the underside of the grill - was this a factory feature and does anyone currently reproduce these?

    thx

As far as I know all the 1973 rsr had these rain schields. Mine has them. They are nothing more than thin gauge alunimum retangles with the long edges bent at 90 degrees. I could take a picture and get demensions. The ones for my RSR are a box at the moment.

The 906 style rainshields that bolt to carbs are being reproduced and sold on the Pelican site. The RSR style look very similar to R style. You might try dropping Armando Serrano a line he would probably know.
