    Thread on Red '59A Disappeared

I was reading new responses to the thread on that beautiful '59A, hit "reply" to acknowledge Bob Fitzpatrick's correction on the dash/upholstery point I brought up and in the blink of an eye, the thread disappeared.

Can't say I've ever had that happen before.

Bob, thanks for correcting my observation. Somehow I sensed that the garnish rails were correct, contrasting the interior, but I didn't realize the dash pad was ever so completely different that the remainder of the upholstery. I never stop learning around here. I think in this case it was the red pad on the red dash that challenged my eye.

So where did that thread go?

What's the story with the other thread being pulled?

    J-P and all,

Bob deleted his own thread from the forum, and I took it off the board....

I almost ALWAYS accommodate a deleted post or thread by the original poster, and take it off the board....

Bob's 356 is a knockout and his '73 Euro S, that he sold some years ago, was just as good. Bob's been into 356's for a very long time... and he's a very nice guy.....

    I hope he'll be back....
