    German Edition T/E/S Driver's/Owner's Manual?

Does anyone have a picture of a German Edition of the 1973 T/E/S Driver's/Owners manual? I know the T/E/S manuals were included with an RS Supplement in '73 RSs. I would like to know what an original German Edition looks like relative to the English Gary and Orange examples that have been posted here. Does anyone know if they were printed in the same cover colors or were they different from the English editions?

Lee, I have one at home, I'll check it out when I get back from work. IF (that THAT IS a BIG IF) memory serves, it is red, but I could be totally and completely wrong. I will check tho.

You may be thinking of your 72S manual, which is red....

    German Edition 1973 T/E/S Driver's/Owner's manual

    Stacy,
Thanks for chasing that up for me. I'll look forward to seeing the photos if you figure out the Mac transfer process. How complete is the collection of the original manual, RS supplement, cover, etc.? Since your RS was also a West Germany delivery car, I would be interested in knowing everything that originally came with it if you know.

Porsche has reprinted them and you should be able to buy a set from your P dealer. I did so here in Italy.
    Otherwise, there's the ebay way...

PS: I need an Italian edition one (in green), can exchange for an original US edition.

    Lee,

I recently bought a Porsche supplied copy of both but also have originals of both the supplement and the handbook

The supplement was printed 2 times in German I think once in 08/72 (750 copies) once in 3/73 (500 copies).

I have seen 1/73 (250 copies) on English versions but I have never been to sure if its total copies or copies for that language.

Original handbook had white plastic coated ring binding, later versions now have clear plastic and are poor copies IMHO. Red cover as per the pic

Supplemnt fitted into envelope on back page of manual
