    Le Mans

    Jorg Bergmeister had set provisional pole in LM GT2 yesterday in the #80 Flying Lizard Motorsports, Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Bergmeister van Overbeek Neiman by flying a lap in 4:00.106.
    Today an American driver took this crown from the Germans. Patrick Long, driving the #76 Imsa Performance Matmut Porsche 911 GT3 RSR went faster than 4 minutes (3:58.152) and broke last years lap record by over 6 seconds. The Flying Lizards stayed cool, and rather than trying to strike back, they closed the store for today, having achieved the goals that had been set for the session"

    Member Ray Crawford is there i think? Cornpanzer is also awol around Europe at this time so perhaps they are at the race?
