    they were for sale on the 914/6 pelican forum last year in June and sold for $500.00 for the set

    Then he got them at a less than market price and now they are for sale for a fair market price. Sounds like capitalism at its finest.

    Yeah, They also were not straight. Al Reed not only had to refinish them, He also had to straighten all four. The four wheels were not straight and true. Do you have any idea how much work, time and money it takes to straighten just one wheel? Before you try and call me out, maybe you should PM me with your "holier than thou" insinuations first. Or, you can just keep them to yourself. As far as the price, this is a very fair price according to many people that have chimed in and said so on my Pelican post.

    You're not going to believe the price of some of the items that I've bought in the recent past.....

    What I want to know is what that has to do with the asking price now?
