    You bum.

Stop in to see the good Dr. K. and his goodies. Who knows maybe he has a couple of RS books laying around you could bring back.

I am from Vienna. However, I now live in Stuttgart, working for an engineering company working for Porsche.

I bought my RS book from Dr. K. two years ago. He is a very interesting guy to talk to and his garage is a must to see. He is between the airport and the city. But you should make an appointment.

    Contact him at: +43 664 20 911 01

Have a good time in my beloved hometown!
    Keep up the speed!

Wink Dr. K. when in Vienna

Stopped by Dr.K.'s garage on a business trip to Vienna.

A very non-descript facade behind which is stored (packed is more accurate) a great selection of 30 to 40 911.

Lots of Speedsters in brillant shades mixed with more recent models but all in exceptional condition, clearly meticulously handpicked.

Only a 914 on view that day, sadly no 911 from 65-73.

What surprised me was that most cars lacked the model designation on the engine lid.
Is it a particular trait of German/Austrian Porsche owners to specifically require all signs/logos to be removed at the factory?

I certainly recommend the visit to anyone passing through Vienna.

Cars are taxed by engine performance and size. So, the model name is deleted thinking government will tax at the lowest rate. Just wishfull thinking in this day and age.
