    leaky solex carb

I had the 66' 911 idleing no problem.. but one of the carbs seem to be blocked as it want to start but leaks fuel.. Is there a moderate fix or does it involve full rebuild of that carb?

By "accelerator pump rod" do you mean the lever that comes out of the accelerator pump cover?

If it's leaking from the accelerator pump cover the first thing I would expect is a torn accelerator pump diaphragm. That's easy to change: just remove four screws. There's been a lot of discussion about sources for pump diaphragms. It's easy to get a kit t do all 6 carburetors--you might be able to find a single diaphragm if you look hard enough.

However, I wouldn't expect a failed accelerator pump to affect idling. It's job is to add a little fuel when you open the throttle. You can easily get the jet carrier out of the carb (two screws) and do a little work with carburetor cleaner and compressed air.
