    mystery cooler i.d.

Can someone i.d. this cooler? It's approx. 1" narrower & shorter than a carrera cooler. The bottom bolt spacing is 2" vs. 3 1/8" carrera cooler. The fittings are 22mm vs 30mm carrera cooler.
    thanks,

It may be the cooler for a factory 930S slant nose. It looks real similar.

I did a test fit on my DP and it looks too big.
I know the factory mounted an cooler in the passenger side rear fender for one year but haven't been able to find ANY info on what they used, or how it fit.

I have a 79 DP935 also with a different cooler in the front. If your trying to use it in the front on a DP I don't believe it will fit.

The one you have is very similar to the one on my 87 930S. They were used on the 87-89 M505 930S models in the passenger side rear behind the brake duct. If you can't use it I may be interested in a spare for my car.

I already have a front cooler. I was considering mounting a second cooler in the passenger side rear fender for added cooling on the occasional track days. I test fit the cooler in the rear fender but it looked too big.
Can you tell me how the fender cooler is mounted and how the lines are run?
    thanks,
    Harold
