    Cars Needed Carmel Concours

Here is an opportunity to show your early 911 or Porsche race car. Should be a fun event. Please see the information from Bruce Anderson below. Thanks.

"I am the chief judge for the Porsches at the Porsche/Ferrari Concours on the Avenue in Carmel August 11 for cars built through 1973. We have plenty of 356s, but are short on early 911s and race cars of that vintage any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Check out the website:

According to the downloadable entry form http://www.motorclubevents.com/PDF_EntryForm.pdf "All classes will close no later than May 12, 2008."

How soon must people act, and what cars might still be allowed to enter?

Please standby for a date but, clearly, it is still open. I'm informed "send it in ASAP."

Hi, The Marines are always after a few good men and we are after a few good early 911s for the Carmel Concours on the Avenue. The entry date is flexible until we get the field that we want for the show.

This will be a great show, I judged Carmel Concours on the Avenue last year, which was a general car show for post war through 1973 cars and it was one of the best shows that I have ever had anything to do with even if there were only a few Porsche. When Doug Freedman asked me to help out this year I was glad to sign on as chief judge for the Porsche half of the show. If you have a pretty early 911 I encourage you to download the entry form from our website: http://www.motorclubevents.com/. I promise you will have a great time.

    Thanks,
    Bruce Anderson
