    True. Do you know if it is factory; it came off of a 67 s targa

    Targa Footrest

    911's and 912 Targa's had these as standards from my knowledge. I have never seen one listed in a Kardex or COA as an option. But I could always be wrong.

    foot rest

    Tom, I cut this out of a 67 s targa. I`m not too familiar with targas but thought this was real unique compared to a coupe. The thing that really catches my eye is the fact that it is brazed/ welded to the left foot well and not spot welded!?I got this in 95 and cut it out myself & the targa is no longer in this world. {Correction , half is brazed half is spot welded}

    foot rest

    Thanks for the foto. I`ve never really look at a targa floor section to check for this. I did look in the parts books and cannot find a listing for one either.Wish the coupe foot rest looked as intergral as the targa ones........I take it not all targas received this treatment?...

    Not sure if that is the same as the one on the LWB cars. On my LWB, the foot rest is angled slightly (toward the clutch pedal) so your foot doesn't sit flat against it - very uncomfortable on long drives. I wound up fabbing up a dead pedal and mounting over it.

    BTW: I doubt there is a part nr. since it is welded to the tub.
