FS: 16 Gallon Gas Tank Boiled and Coated

I had this tank boiled and sealed by Benson's Radiator Service in Walnut Creek on 4/6/05 for $112.19 (still have receipt of service). I ran it up until 2 months ago in my car but will not be re-using it because it is not correct for the SWB. The SWB tanks have a smaller vent tube. If I was going to go through all the trouble or restoring the front compartment and stripping a tank to bare metal then I wanted to strip the correct tank. So that is the only reason this tank is for sale.
It is for the shell only - no sending unit, plugs, filter, etc. This would be a straight install with no worries or restore the exterior at your leisure and swap in an afternoon with no down time to restore your tank.
Local pick up only. I live in the Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek area.
    $75 OBO.

Stallone - looks like this tank is sold pending pick up. Funny thing - I bought a tank from a local buyer for $50 about 2 months ago. It was just the shell. Well guess who is buying this tank? The guy that sold me the $50 tank. Funny.
Tim - I had put out a WTB for a tank and prices were all over the place. I got a good deal and wanted to pass it on.
