Thread: Early 911 market slowing down?

  1. #1

Question Early 911 market slowing down?

I overheard a conversation between two guys at the Emory swap meet; one guy has been doing some pretty detailed sales tracking on Ebay on Early 911s. I didn't catch his name, but he said that things has suddenly gone very sodt in the last two months, especially in the "non-S" cars.

Has anybody noticed? I hadn't, but I haven't been watching.

I have been shopping for an early 911 for 6 months and it seems to me that there has been a definite slowdown in all early 911s including S cars. It is more of a feeling and not backed by data.

Maybe it will make parts for my 67 more available at reasonable prices? Not holding my breath...

I hope so Kenik as I sold my Targa and I'm on the hunt for a nice coupe.

I've just noted a general slowdown of cars available on eBay as well as a reduction in quality. There have been a number of high $$ sales but my sense is the available supply is starting to dry up.

I would 911 sales on ebay have slowed or softened up a bit. I doubt the top end of the market has changed very much.
