    Heuer Rallymaster dash mount

Great thread & I had to respond..........

I had a bracket made up to mount my Heuers in the standard sized radio slot in my '65 901.

Simply bolt out the original Blaupunkt and bolt the Heuers and mounting bracket into the radio slot.

    Cheers

1st, those are very tastey Heuers, I especially like the Super Autavia pair on top of your MC Rallymaster!

It would be hard to leave the car unattended when you have those !!!

    Cheers !

Forgive me gentlemen - I just got a new lens (50mm f1.8 - aka "nifty fifty") and had to experiment.

    1. Good luck charm.

    2. Nicely weathered R door handle - a gift from Ernie.

    3. Jack needs attention.

    4. Scotch Brite wheels on Weidman's 7Rs, parkerized open lug nuts, and long studs.

    5. Filler detail.

Jeeze Bob, way to raise the bar! I see the Fuchs photo as a book or calendar cover. No sheet. Very nice.

Here's a SNAPSHOT of a leather and brass inlay horn button I have on my driver.

JW - I believe my handles were the second set off the Ernie Wilberg line. First set went to Huergas. Ernie makes them in his free time but I suspect he hasn't had much of it. Otherwise Swanson use to make them but I understand he has gone "underground". Someone needs to spend a little quality time at Tap Plastics and start producing these again. Looking forward to pics of the "secret" project.
I believe it was Nicholas who recently told me that genuine R door handles don't have 2 raised ridges on the back side as you grab the handle. The SWB guys will understand what I am talking about.
Jens - please zoom out and take another shot. I'd love to see a PORSCHE engraved wheel. That horn button is great!
