    Hello,
here is the Hockey Puck from my car.
Take a look - there is EMPI on it!
Most people know EMPI from the aircooled VW scene ;-)
I don`t know if there is another one. I think mine is the only one here in Germany... :-)

That's a rare hockey puck, Harald... VDM made the wheel for them, is yours an Empi as well, or just the horn button? Much sought after in vintage VW circles.

    Hello Russ,

    great information!!! Thank you!
I have an original 914-6 steering wheel with that puck on it.
    I've never seen a "Riverside 500" Wheel!
But now I know from where the puck is!
    Thank you again!!!

Will you post a view of the side of your EMPI horn puck? Thanks

Inline vent blowers L and R and the variable fan speed switches on the radio delete plate. You can clear that frosted windshield quickly. Just realize the first time you turn the fans all the way up your gonna clear out a half century of dust.

I do have the OEM-spec black, alloy lug nuts, but didn't want to search the whole garage for just a picture, so just re-used the ones that were on the 1976 donor car.

    LOL.

Perhaps for the first few miles this isn't a bad idea.

PS: Anybody doing a lot of welding should use a positive pressure breathing apparatus. I've a friend who's lung function (FEV1) is down considerably these days. He's paying the price from his early days before anyone thought about lung safety. Now, as an instructor, he drives this point home to newbies.
