1973 Std Bumper on 1969 Chassis... Is It a Bolt On Change?

I recently acquired a standard front bumper from a 1973 car. It has the bumper attach brackets as shown in the PET. I was unaware that the LWB MY cars had different part numbers for their standard bumpers until AFTER I bought the bumper. I just assumed that 69-73 was the same. Anyway, my saving grace is that the car, a 69MY, has an S bumper currently installed. Maybe they have already adapted the chassis to accept the later style of bumper. That is my hope and that this is just a bolt on change.

I thought I would post the question here to see what I could learn from all you experienced in front bumper knowledge. Thanks!
